'LanternFen Pizzeria started with an aspiration: to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Romano household in 1985, our pizza shop opened as a modest, family-owned business, preserving recipes passed through the ages.

Marco Romano, our pioneer, mastered the craft of pizza while exploring Italy, mentoring with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples - the cradle of pizza. After returning to the UK, her mission was to recreate the essence of classic Italian pizza, honoring time-tested processes and sourcing premium ingredients.

What began as a cozy 12-seat pizza house has flourished into a cherished neighborhood gem, though our dedication to excellence and genuineness has stayed steadfast. We adhere to authentic wood oven baking techniques, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and choose top-tier ingredients available to us.

In present times, 'LanternFen Pizzeria' retains its family ownership, with the Romano descendants now guiding our devoted crew. While modern ideas have been welcomed, our business's soul remains unaltered: crafting delectable, real pizza that congregates families and friends.
